Imaginary Pavilion
In 2008 my colleagues and I visited Venice Biennial and performed a collective intervention at the Venice Giardini Exhibitions. It was our reaction to the overall bad position of cultural representation of our country abroad. We called the action "Imaginary Pavilion of Bosnia and Herzegowina" as it was also a critic to the political and cultural deadend our country was sentenced to by the Dayton agreement that ended the Bosnian war and cemented its national division. Furthermore it helped define the artistic programme of our arts association called Tac.ka (the dot) that we had founded shortly before. In the following years new and extended editions of the project followed as we organized group exhibitions, performances and interventions in Bosnia, Italy, France and Germany.
